I can’t easily compile monodevelop 0.10 on Debian Etch (testing). The problem is with NUnit. The Debian package (libnunit-cil-2.2.6) causes compilation errors, however, NUnit version 2.2.0, downloaded from the official page, doesn’t.

Why am I so desperate to use it? Well… this version brings Stetic, an interface designer for Gtk#, in the best Visual Studio .NET or SharpDevelop style. Look:

To use it you simply have to extract it somewhere and change one little thing (simple). Everything is explained in the README. It’s worth clarifying that you don’t have to install it on your system, but you extract it wherever you want and use it.
